Dear Aspirants, Greetings from Rain Cements Ltd (Priya Cement) We have an opening for Deputy General Manager - Civil Job Location: Unit 2, Sreepuram, Boincheruvupalli (V), Peapully (M), Nandyal (D), AP - 518220 Job Description: Rain Cements, a thirty-nine-year-old company headquartered in Hyderabad and known for manufacturing and marketing Priya Cement , is seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager - Civil to lead and oversee the overall project & maintenance activities at its plant in Unit 2, Sreepuram, Boincheruvupalli (V), Peapully (M), Nandyal (D), AP - 518220 To be successful as DGM - Civil, the ideal candidate should have strong management skills involved in overseeing and coordinating various projects from start to finish while ensuring that schedules, budgets, and specifications are followed carefully. We seek a leader with significant experience in site management, contractors' management, manpower planning, erection planning, and people management. Role & Responsibilities Monitoring, Execution & Maintenance of plant civil construction works BOQ Preparation & Bill Checking and Certification Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues Prepare the Project Schedule and tracking & Monitoring Prepare the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports and presenting to Management Projects for industrial structure Aluminum Form work expansion for civil works, especially in cement plants and also have experience in high raise buildings with Aluminum form work Work with AutoCAD, MS Office, Primavera, MS Projects and SAP Preferred candidate profile . B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech in Civil Engineering Minimum 15 years of experience in construction of industrial projects, Minimum 6 Years of experience in brownfield project in any Large Cement manufacturing plants. Experience and exposure in the areas of major civil constructions works, such as Industrial Structures, Structural designs, Silos, Factory Buildings, Modern infrastructures, Aluminum Formwork Technology and fast track residential / commercial high-rise projects, precast works, interpretation of technical data etc. Aged between 35 to 50 years. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in Telugu and English. Fluency in Hindi is a plus.
