We are seeking an experienced and strategic GTM and Trade Marketing candidate to lead our go-to-market (GTM) initiatives and drive trade marketing efforts for our FMCG brand. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and optimization of our trade marketing programs to maximize sales growth and brand visibility. You will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and implement impactful strategies that enhance customer relationships and drive brand presence across retail channels. Key Responsibilities: GTM Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of the go-to-market strategy for new product launches and existing product lines, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and supply chain) to define market entry plans and optimize product placement. Develop and implement launch plans, including pricing strategies, promotions, and positioning to ensure a successful market introduction. Trade Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and manage trade marketing campaigns that enhance product visibility and brand awareness in retail environments. Build and maintain relationships with key retail partners, ensuring that our brands marketing objectives are effectively communicated and implemented. Manage in-store promotions, trade events, and consumer engagement programs to drive product trial and sales conversion. Retail Strategy & Channel Management: Analyze and monitor retail performance, identifying opportunities to improve product availability, placement, and visibility at key customer touchpoints. Develop and execute channel-specific marketing strategies to drive growth across different retail formats (supermarkets, convenience stores, etc.). Work with sales teams to ensure that retail partners are equipped with the necessary tools, materials, and training to promote products effectively. Market Research & Consumer Insights: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to gather insights on consumer behavior, retail trends, and competitor activity. Leverage data to optimize trade marketing strategies and improve return on investment (ROI) for trade spend. Budget Management: Develop and manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources across different activities and channels. Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing investments, adjusting tactics as needed to maximize ROI. Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reports on GTM and trade marketing campaign performance, analyzing KPIs such as sales growth, market share, and trade compliance. Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize GTM strategies and trade marketing initiatives. Qualifications: Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (from Premier College). 10+ years of experience in GTM strategy and trade marketing within the FMCG industry. Strong understanding of the FMCG landscape, consumer behavior, and retail dynamics. Proven track record of successful product launches, trade marketing campaigns, and retail relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Analytical mindset with experience in working with market data and trade performance metrics. Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
