Deputy Manager - IT Procurement

Job Description

1. IT Procurement-Handling of all IT purchase like Servers, storage, laptops, Desktop, workstation, firewalls, network switches, industrial PC, cyber security products, software license etc.Good understanding of requirement understanding and configuration design.New Vendor Development, Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with IT vendors & suppliers.Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and procurement documentation.Maintain IT asset records, track purchases, and ensure compliance with company policies.Work closely with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams to optimize IT spending.Assist in budget planning and cost control for IT purchases. 2. Server Management:Install, configure, and maintain servers.Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues.Ensure servers are up-to-date with patches and security measures." 3.Network Administration:Set up and manage the organization's network infrastructure.Implement and maintain firewalls, routers, and switches.Troubleshoot network connectivity issues." "Security Management:Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.Regularly update and monitor antivirus and anti-malware solutions.Conduct security audits and risk assessments." 4.Backup and Recovery:Implement and manage backup solutions.Develop and test disaster recovery plans.Ensure data integrity and availability." 5. User Account Management:Create and manage user accounts and access permissions.Provide technical support to end-users.Handle account authentication and password policies." 6.System Monitoring and Optimization:Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.Optimize system configurations for efficiency.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks." 7.Software Installation and Updates:Install, configure, and update software applications.Manage licensing for software products.Ensure compatibility and integration with existing systems. 8.Collaboration:Collaborate with other IT professionals, such as developers and network engineers.Communicate effectively with team members and end-users." 9.Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations and procedures.Create user guides and manuals." Experience with Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, Network, and Security solutions Experience on installing, configuring, and supporting Routers, Switches, firewalls, UTM, Proxies and web Filters, WLAN Working knowledge of VPNs, VLANs, MPLS, UTM, load balancing, ZTNA etc Experience of Web server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Certificate server.
