Deputy Project Manager

Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of civil construction projects. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Assist in developing detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely completion. Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Resource Management: Oversee the procurement and allocation of materials, equipment, and labor. Ensure efficient utilization of resources to minimize costs and delays. Manage subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high construction standards. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Prepare and present regular updates to senior management and clients. Manage project records and ensure proper filing and archiving. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and address issues that may impact project timelines or budgets. Implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in civil construction project management. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects. .
