Job Overview The Deputy Store Business Head Sales role at Reliance Retail is a senior-level position. This full-time role requires strategic sales leadership to drive growth and performance across general and modern trade sectors within the store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the FMCG market. Qualifications and Skills Team Leadership (Mandatory skill) - Experience in leading and managing diverse sales teams effectively to meet organizational goals. General trade (Mandatory skill) - Extensive knowledge and experience in managing and growing general trade channels. FMCG sales (Mandatory skill) - Proven track record of success in the fast-moving consumer goods sector. (Bangalore Market) Sales Strategy Development - Ability to craft, implement, and execute sales strategies to increase market share and performance. Customer Relationship Management - Expertise in building and maintaining lasting relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Market Analysis - Skilled in assessing market conditions to identify opportunities and trends to optimize sales efforts. Modern trade - Experience managing sales initiatives within modern trade sectors to boost profitability. Sales target - Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and drive business growth. Roles and Responsibilities Lead and motivate the store sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and performance objectives. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for both general and modern trade sectors. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and new sales channels. Nurture and expand relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to drive sales and enhance brand loyalty. Analyze sales performance metrics and take corrective actions to address underperformance and capitalize on strengths. Ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained across all sales teams in alignment with company standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless store operations and optimal product assortment. Adapt and implement innovative sales strategies to address changing market dynamics and consumer preferences.
