Job Description

Role & responsibilities Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CATIA and Unigraphics NX . Work on the design and development of components such as plastic parts, sheet metal, or seating systems. Support new product development, prototype design, and engineering changes. Conduct tolerance analysis, design for manufacturability (DFM), and design for assembly (DFA). Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality, and suppliers. Review and validate design changes, BOM, and technical documentation. Assist in creating and maintaining design standards, libraries, and best practices. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 8-10 years of experience as a Design Engineer in the automotive or manufacturing domain. Proficient in CATIA V5 and Unigraphics NX (UG). Strong understanding of GD&T, materials, and engineering drawings. Experience in automotive seating systems, interiors, or components is a plus. Familiarity with PLM systems like Teamcenter or ENOVIA is an advantage. Good communication and teamwork skills.
