We are specifically looking for candidates with direct experience in Transformers or Switchgear, with a minimum of five years in the field. Preferred candidates should come from companies such as: ABB, Siemens, Schneider Electric, AVEVA, ETAP, PLANON, Rockwell Automation, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, GE, Hitachi, El Sewedy Electric, and Alfanar. Design Engineer Electrical (Industrial Services) Location : Chennai India Level : Design Engineer Experience : 5 yrs Job Description: Technical activities related to Engineering, Design & Retrofitting (Electrical and Mechanical) of Electrical Equipment, including MV/LV Switchgear, Controlgear, LV Panel Board / Switchboard, Protection & Control Relay Panels, Switch rack, Cable Bus, Power Factor Correction Equipment (Capacitor Bank with Filter Reactor and associated Protection & Control, other VAR compensations, etc.) coordination activities, preparation of related documentation. Work Experience: Direct work experience of 5 years in the field related to Engineering, Design & Retrofitting (Electrical and Mechanical) of Electrical Equipment. Required Skillset: Technical knowledge related to Engineering, Design & retrofitting (Electrical and Mechanical) of electrical equipment, Certified professional courses of various application software for analysis and design, AutoCAD / MicroStation. Conversant with Quality Management System functions and documentation. Education: BS/BE/BTech Electrical / Electronic Engineering
