Job Description: We are now looking for an experienced and qualified candidate with the main mission to work as Design Engineer. Your main responsibilities in this role will be: Actively support the Team in solving the Field Problem/Supplier query/Purchasing query that arises through ACIGN portal. Update the same changes in the PLM system. Design the kits for the filed replacement, Set the bill of material, create installation drawings and part drawings for the new parts. As a part engineering team, take responsibility for creating a Preventive maintenance kit. Involve in Cost reduction activities. Update the PLM system with CN and CR activities. Support the Custom Engineering solutions team by understanding the customer requirement and incorporating the same into the machine. Co-ordinate with division Engineers @ PSD Garland hub for the project requirement. Work on PDM/PLM systems associated with engineering release processes systems. Proficient in Creo and Teamcenter is added advantage. Ensure execution of tasks in strict compliance with operating procedures and delivery of defect free output on-time. Mentor the team and encourage the team members to perform to their highest potential. Maintain Project documents as per ISO procedures. Support or drive continuous improvement plan, helps team in upgrading all the internal processes on continuous basis. This position will report to Project Manager - EITC PSD Engineering Experience Bachelors/masters in mechanical engineering or related. Min 3-4 years of experience with Mining Machinery/ Earth moving equipment /drilling Equipment/off road vehicles. Knowledge Good knowledge of engineering basics. Drawings detailing and GDT. Knowledge of design standards. Preparation release of BOM and Engineering change management. Should have a very good capability to analyse customer requirements and translate them into actionable tasks. Hands on Exp in Creo, Large assembly handling techniques, Knowledge Pro-Piping/Pro Cabling Knowledge in PLM - Teamcenter/other and PDM -M3/Other will be an added advantage.
