Job Description

Job Summary: Design Mechanical Components, systems, products using CAD Softwares like Unigraphics (UG-NX). Create detailed technical drawings, specifications and 3D Models. Conduct feasibility studies including material selections, cost estimation etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with project requirements. Good engineering fundamental knowledge Good knowledge on drawing Standards (ISO, ANSI/ASME) 2+ years of hands-on experience on Unigraphics (UG-NX). Hands on experience on Sheet metal Plastic design. Good knowledge on any PLM, preferably Teamcenter. Product development and engineering change management process knowledge. Capability to understand/ apply GDT and Tolerance Stack-up analysis Able to work on global product development projects independently. Able to manage his/her deliverables and clearly communicate with client Excellent problem solving and time management skills Knowledge on various manufacturing processes like injection molding, sheet metal stamping, castings, and forgings. Experience in design/development of Plastic and sheet metal components Good planning, interpersonal and communication skills Self-motivated and highly organized
