Job Description: GET/Design Engineer Job Summary We are looking for a Design Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability in 3D modelling and drafting, particularly in the automotive chassis and coach building sectors, with expertise in sheet metal and tool design, including jigs and fixtures. This role is ideal for candidates with 04 years of experience, including fresh engineering graduates. Key Responsibilities 3D Modeling and Drafting: Create detailed designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Automotive Chassis Preparation: Design and develop vehicle chassis structures. Coach Building: Work on custom coach building projects. Sheet Metal and Tool Design: Develop sheet metal components and tools, ensuring functionality and ease of manufacturing. Jigs & Fixtures: Design and develop fixtures for production lines. Material Selection: Identify and select appropriate materials for design applications. Documentation: Ensure designs are well-documented and meet industry standards. Desired Skills Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of material properties and selection. Good documentation practices to ensure proper design handover. Basic Finite Element Analysis Knowledge. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience in design, particularly in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. 0 -4 years of relevant experience. Other Requirements Familiarity with simulation tools (added advantage). Experience in PLM & PDM tools, specifically Solidworks EPDM (added advantage). CAE skills (added advantage).
