Design Engineer - UG-NX

Job Description

We are actively seeking a motivated and skilled Design Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience, specializing in UG NX. In this role, you will be instrumental in the new product design and development lifecycle, contributing significantly to innovative engineering solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include the creation of detailed designs for sheet metal components, weldment designs, and intricate hydraulic hose routing for various engine systems and components. This position demands a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, coupled with the ability to translate conceptual ideas into robust and manufacturable designs. You will be expected to utilize UG NX proficiently for 3D modeling, assembly design, and drafting. A key advantage for this role is prior experience with NX Simulation, as it will enable you to conduct initial analyses and optimize designs for performance, structural integrity, and manufacturability even before physical prototyping. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management, to ensure design feasibility, adherence to specifications, and timely project delivery.
