Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design Role & responsibilities Design Development: Create detailed designs for electrical components, ensuring functionality, safety, and aesthetics. Technical Documentation: Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and production. Prototyping: Develop and test prototypes to validate designs and make necessary adjustments. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements. Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and apply this knowledge to develop innovative design solutions. Quality Assurance: Conduct design reviews and participate in quality assurance processes to ensure high standards are maintained. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into the design process. Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and outcomes. Preferred candidate profile Education: Bachelors degree in Mechinical Engineering, Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in design within the electrical components industry Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Strong technical drawing and documentation skills. Knowledge of electrical components and systems. Ability to develop innovative and practical design solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design work. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
