You support our team as Design – Steel Stamping Engineer Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and feasibility analysis for stamping/press parts Creation of BOMs, conventional & progressive route strip layouts, raw material and process definitions, die size calculations Strong understanding of engineering standards for raw material selection and assembly structure Additional Technical Tasks: Tonnage calculation for both cutting and non-cutting operations Deep knowledge of sheet metal formability, stamping simulation, tool design, and tryouts Proficiency in designing tools: blanking, piercing, restriking, forming, bending, and progressive press tools Awareness of coating and welding processes Required Skills: Expertise in tooling design for high-tolerance press parts (Optional )Experience in CATIA (2D & 3D) for forming and surfacing Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Strong communication skills (written and spoken English) Creative thinking, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering 3 to 6 years of relevant industry experience Designing Tool for critical press parts. (High tolerance) Good English communication skills (spoken, written and comprehension) are expected.
