Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive L1 Desktop Engineer to join our IT support team. As an L1 Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of desktop operating systems, productivity software, and basic networking concepts. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems remotely and in person. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-level contact and technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software, ensuring compatibility with user systems. Perform hardware and software maintenance, including system updates and patches. Set up new workstations and assist with user account provisioning and access management. Collaborate with L2 and L3 support teams to escalate complex issues when necessary. Document technical issues, solutions, and support processes. Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams. Provide excellent customer service and ensure high levels of user satisfaction. Maintaining Assets Inventory. Required Skills and Qualifications: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelors degree preferred). Proven experience as an L1 Desktop Support Engineer or similar role. Solid understanding of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and standard office software (Microsoft Office, G Suite). Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Customer-oriented attitude with a commitment to delivering quality service. Immediate Joining Required
