Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer L2 Job Summary: Provide advanced technical support for desktop environments, ensuring high levels of service and technical assistance to users. Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Advanced Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime. - Technical Support: Provide expert assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. - Software Deployment: Deploy and configure software applications and operating systems. - Hardware Management: Manage and maintain hardware components, including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices. - Ticket Management: Document and track incidents, resolutions, and service requests in the ticketing system. - Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to escalate and resolve issues promptly. - Mentoring: Assist in training and mentoring junior support staff. - Process Improvement: Contribute to IT projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise. Required Skills: - Operating Systems: Advanced knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems. - Networking: Strong understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting techniques. - Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ticketing Systems: Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience: 2-4 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
