Overview: Working as a full-time Systems Engineer - Desktop where you will be responsible for helpdesk, technical support, and manage IT assets. Job Responsibilities: Handling incoming emails, self-service Help Desk tickets, incidents and requests Resolving and escalating Help Desk incidents and requests Collaborating with colleagues and leadership to provide prompt and accurate customer service Supporting hardware and software for Fastenal employees in all departments Detailing accurate information in the incident or requests forms Should have basic knowledge on installation, configuration and troubleshooting of MS Windows OS 10/11. Basic knowledge about DHCP / DNS / SCCM / Windows TCP/IP protocols & Windows AD. Basic network troubleshooting. Printer & IPAD support. Assets, Licensing and Vendor Management On-call Support Skills Requirements: Excellent written and oral communication skills Problem solving skills Should have knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented Demonstrate strong organization, planning, prioritizing abilities and attention to detail Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Work independently as well as in a team environment Networking Basics Basic troubleshooting skills in windows desktop environment Basic knowledge about various Windows TCP/IP protocols & services (SCCM, DNS, RDP etc.) Personal Attributes: Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork Demonstrate relationship building and teamwork skills within all levels of the organization in a collaborative effort Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problems Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of relevant experience in Helpdesk and Desktop support EDUCATION: Full time Bachelor's degree
