DevOps / Automation Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps / Automation Engineer with a strong background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) , virtualization technologies , and Ansible automation . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing infrastructure automation, managing virtual environments, and scripting to streamline operations in enterprise-scale systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain virtual environments, primarily using KVM and RHEL-based platforms. Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks , roles, and Ansible Tower jobs for system configuration and automation. Lead or assist in migration projects involving virtual machines and infrastructure changes. Automate routine system administration tasks and deployment processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and implement solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and availability issues. Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and automation workflows. Required Skills: 6+ years of experience working with RHEL in production environments. Strong expertise in Ansible (Playbooks, Roles, Ansible Tower). Hands-on experience in scripting (Shell/Bash/YAML). Solid understanding of virtualization technologies , especially KVM . Experience with VM migration , provisioning, and lifecycle management. Good understanding of infrastructure automation and system configuration. Nice to Have: Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines. Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet). Familiarity with containerization (Docker) or orchestration (Kubernetes). Educational Qualification: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications in RHEL, Ansible, or Virtualization are a plus.
