Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Deployment, automation, and management of AWS cloud-based production systems. Ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems. Management of the creation, release, and configuration of production systems. System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms. Definition and deployment of tools for automating different operational processes. Preferred candidate profile: 2 years plus of hands-on experience in provisioning, operations, and management of AWS environments. Competency with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CDN, SQS, ElastiCache, Glue ETL, and ALB. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a strong advantage. Experience in code development in at least one high-level programming language. Strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with experience in Jenkins and Bitbucket. Knowledge of Google Apigee is an added advantage. Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and OpenSearch. Coding or scripting knowledge in at least two of the following: Shell, Perl, Python, PowerShell, Go. Experience with application servers, servlet containers, and web servers (e.g., Tomcat, Nginx, Apache HTTP Server). Fair knowledge of available AWS open-source databases. Educational Qualification: Bachelor in Engineering/MCA/BSC-IT or degree in equivalent field.
