Job Description

Location : Punjab Experience : 5-10 years Title : Devops Developer Key Responsibilities : - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools. - Automate deployment processes for microservices and containerized applications across multiple environments. - Ensure high availability and rollback capabilities for production deployments. - Develop and maintain infrastructure provisioning scripts using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Implement configuration management solutions with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security for on-prem and cloud environments. - Write and optimize scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating operational tasks. - Build custom tools to streamline repetitive DevOps workflows. - Implement monitoring and alerting automation to proactively address system issues. - Collaborate with database administrators to manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Implement automated database backup, restoration, and performance monitoring solutions. - Ensure secure handling of database credentials and access through tools like HashiCorp Vault. - Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to align DevOps practices with business goals. Technical Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - Expertise in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools for automation pipelines. - Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting for automation. - Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications. - Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools for infrastructure provisioning. - Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
