DevOps Engineer

About the role: A DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations by implementing automation, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable infrastructure solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build, deploy, and maintain high-performance applications while ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for infrastructure automation, configuration management, container orchestration, and adapting to evolving DevOps best practices to streamline software delivery and operations. Key Responsibility: Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFront, ELB, etc. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, or AWS CDK. Proficient in CI/CD tools like AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions. Experience with containerization tools : Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS. Solid knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting. Experience in monitoring/logging tools like CloudWatch and the ELK stack. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go is a plus. Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices. Familiarity with version control systems like Git . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Requirements AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect Certification. Experience with serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices. Prior experience with multi-region and disaster recovery configurations.
