DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who will own the existing infrastructure of our growing customer-facing applications and services. Parity Cube Pvt Ltd runs 3 popular products DesiDime.com , CueLinks.com and Zingoy.com and is one of the leader in Performance marketing. We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our infrastructure, automate deployments, and enhance system performance and reliability. Our environment includes DigitalOcean, PostgreSQL with master-slave replication, Redis, Memcache, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, and Python utilities. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain server infrastructure on DigitalOcean. Configure and optimize PostgreSQL replication and caching layers (Redis, Memcache). Set up and manage search indexing using ElasticSearch. Automate deployment processes (e.g., Mina for Rails apps) and Ubuntu server setups. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Monitor and improve the performance of Sidekiq and Unicorn applications. Configure and optimize Cloudflare settings (DDoS protection, WAF, caching rules). Manage microservices communication using RabbitMQ. Ensure robust server security, including firewall setups and best practices. Collaborate with development teams (Android, Rails) to automate workflows. Write and maintain Python scripts for utilities and tasks. Qualifications: Strong experience with Linux system administration, especially Ubuntu. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcache, and ElasticSearch. Proficiency with GitLab and its CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of deployment automation tools like Mina. Experience managing RabbitMQ or similar message brokers. Familiarity with Cloudflare and its security/caching features. Ability to configure and optimize Nginx and Unicorn. Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation. A focus on performance optimization and reliability. Preferred Skills: Experience with master-slave replication in databases. Familiarity with DigitalOcean, especially droplets and volumes. Knowledge of DDoS protection and web application firewalls. Previous experience with microservices architecture.
