Job Title: DevOps Engineer Responsibilities: l . Infrastructure as Code (laC): a. Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation. 2. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): a. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery. 3. Configuration Management: a. Ensure tools and cloud platforms (like Data bricks) are up to date so the team ca leverage the latest features and adopt best practices as recommended by the vendors. 4. Containerization: a. Implement and manage containerization solutions with Docker. 5. Monitoring and Logging: a. Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems for proactive issue detection and resolution. 6. Collaboration: a. Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and releases. b. Set up dev tools (linters, formatters, test frameworks etc.) for the team to increase code maintainability and testability, increasing team productivity as a whole c. Work closely with DSEA leaders to make high-level architecture decisions to ensure the scalability of the DSEA team and its technology 7, Security: a. Implement and maintain security best practices for infrastructure and applications. b. Work with IT//nfosec while overseeing compliance & security items for the DSEA team, ensuring we are operating up to the standards the IT/lnfosec team has set 8. Automated Testing: a. Collaborate with QA teams to integrated automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker,ECS). Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, and Docker Certified Associate. Experience with serverless architecture. Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
