DevOps Senior Engineer - only immediate joiners

Job Description

Main responsibilities: Work closely with local & global Software Engineers to enable them to develop applications following established processes Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Spinnaker to automate build, test, and deployment processes Manage and optimize containerization using Docker and orchestration with AWS EKS Ensure infrastructure scalability, high availability, and cost optimization within AWS Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure Perform root cause analysis for production errors Investigate and resolve technical issues Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats On-call work may be required on a roster basis to help support production systems Qualifications Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms Proven experience with Kubernetes orchestration (AWS EKS) and Istio service mesh. Knowledge of Gloo Gateway is a plus. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, shell) for automation Familiarity with source control (Git) and automated testing frameworks Experience working within AWS and with its managed products Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform Knowledge of CI tools (ideally Jenkins) and CD tools (ideally Spinnaker) Familiar with Java, Kotlin and NodeJS development practices and ecosystems Familiar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts Curiosity and willingness to learn Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
