Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Chemical Analysis and Testing: Perform routine chemical analysis on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished ductile iron pipes to ensure compliance with specifications. Conduct tests to determine the chemical composition, including carbon, silicon, sulfur, phosphorus, manganese, and trace elements. Evaluate the properties of castings, coatings, and materials used in the production of DI pipes. Quality Control and Process Monitoring: Monitor the production process to ensure the correct chemical formulations and alloying elements are used for the manufacturing of DI pipes. Conduct quality checks and ensure the mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation, meet required standards. Work with the production team to resolve any discrepancies or deviations from quality standards. Ductile Iron Casting and Treatment: Conduct tests on the ductile iron casting process, including molten metal analysis, to ensure the desired microstructure is achieved. Perform metallurgical examinations on DI pipe samples to evaluate their microstructure and mechanical properties. Research and Development: Assist in the development of new alloys and formulations to improve the properties of DI pipes. Work with R&D teams to optimize the manufacturing process and ensure product innovation in line with industry advancements. Research new techniques and technologies for improving the durability, corrosion resistance, and overall quality of DI pipes.
