Job Summary:Ensure the quality of the software being shipped and be involved in all aspects of Software Testing & Test Management.Job Responsibility:Conduct comprehensive testing of web and mobile applications using various assistive technologies such as screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, speech recognition software, and alternative input devices.Evaluate the accessibility of new and existing products to ensure they meet WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), and Section 508 standards.Develop and execute detailed accessibility test plans, including manual and automated testing strategies.Document and report accessibility issues, providing clear steps to reproduce and recommendations for remediation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and support in implementing accessibility best practices and solutions.Stay informed about the latest developments in assistive technologies and accessibility standards.Assist in creating and maintaining accessibility documentation, guidelines, and training materials for internal teamsProfile:Experience in Manual, Functional and AccessibilityCompatibility Testing.Ability to work closely with developers, project managers and other test teams, to ensure the quality of the owned components, clarify functional requirements, determine testing requirements, and provide feedback on design solutions.Ensure all work produced meets customer requirements before being released for internal approval.Specification / Skills / Experience:In addition to possessing good communication skills, being self-motivated, internet-savvy, focused on delivery and paying attention to detail, the candidate should have excellent knowledge and experience in the following technologies/areas:Primary skills (Must have):Experience in AT (Assistive Technology) testing using screen reader like JAWS, NVDA and Voiceover Understanding of ARIA practicesGood knowledge of WCAG 2.1, ADA, and Section 508 standardsUse of tools like Axe, Lighthouse, and keyboard-only testingKnowledge in MS-Windows, Mac, and MS-Office productGeneral Software practice, Life Cycle, and troubleshootingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSecondary skills (Nice to have):Certification on AT TestingAutomated testing tools HTML, CSS, Javascript, and XML knowledge Staying updated with latest accessibility trends and standards
