Job Description

Location: Mafatlal Industries Ltd., Churchgate, Mumbai (In Office) Experience: 7-10 years About the Role: This is a builder role , ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity , enjoys setting up systems , and wants to create lasting impact in a transforming organisation. You will be at the center of our digital transformation , working across multiple verticals ( Textile, IT Infra & Services, Healthcare, E-commerce etc.) to bring our brands to life online, taking ownership of both in-house execution and external coordination across Digital marketing functions. This high visibility role directly reports to the Head - Brand and Marcom, and works closely with the Chief of staff and other vertical leads. Key Responsibilities Help build and Manage a 4-member team (with plans to scale to 78 over the next 2 years) across performance marketing, brand communication, social media, website management, and content creation. Build and lead our digital growth roadmap across multiple verticals, for both B2B and D2C Architect and scale performance marketing campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, and LinkedIn, both in-house and via partners Define and execute SEO strategy with internal teams or external agencies, covering technical SEO, content, and reporting Manage and grow our owned digital assets , including websites, landing pages, and e-commerce properties across Shopify and other CMS platforms Aid the digital execution of brand moments like launches, campaigns, and seasonal pushes Lead email marketing and CRM strategies to build user journeys, drive retention, and nurture leads Help build internal reporting systems to track digital performance, using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and HubSpot Ensure cohesive execution across look, feel, and messaging for the brand Work cross-functionally with Business Unit Heads, leadership and external vendors to ensure alignment with broader business goals Required Skills & Experience 5 to 8 years of experience in digital marketing, with exposure across performance marketing and brand building Proven experience managing SEO projects with hands-on ability and the judgment to work alongside agencies and junior team members Experience managing teams and/or freelancers , with the ability to build, mentor, and lead in a fast-changing environment Strong execution instincts and a bias for learning , with a passion for staying updated on digital trends and tools A strong sense of design and brand , with an eye for good copy, clean visuals, and aligned brand aesthetics Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution and day-to-day deliverables Ownership mindset and ability to work independently, while collaborating closely with different business units Entrepreneurial energy with a collaborative spirit , comfortable in working across both D2C and B2B models. Familiarity with Category Example Tools Email marketing : Mailchimp, Klaviyo Paid ads Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads Analytics Google Analytics, HubSpot Website tools : Shopify SEO tools : Ahrefs, Google Search Console
