Job Description Position Director Operations - EXC Location Gurgaon Reporting Manager Head of Operations - BoardShift Timings 8:00 AM 5:00 PM ( EST) JOB BRIEF: We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day global operations of EXC-MS. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for managing global operational teams across multiple functions, including Finance , FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) , Legal , Talent Acquisition , Talent Management , and IT Infrastructure . The Director of Operations will be instrumental in implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing workflows, ensuring efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across all operational aspects of the business. Key Responsibilities: Global Operations Management : Oversee global operational processes and ensure smooth execution across Finance , FP&A , Legal , Talent Acquisition , Talent Management , and IT Infrastructure teams. Ensure global operational objectives are aligned with the broader business goals, driving efficiency and operational excellence across departments. Leadership & Team Management : Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across various functional areas, fostering a collaborative and accountable environment. Work closely with department heads in Finance, FP&A, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and IT Infrastructure to ensure effective coordination and execution of operational strategies. Strategic Planning & Execution : Drive the development and implementation of strategic operational initiatives that improve performance across global teams. Partner with senior leadership to ensure alignment of operational strategies with the overall business objectives and organizational growth. Process Optimization & Efficiency : Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and operational optimization across all functions. Use data and analytics to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and increase productivity across the organization. IT Infrastructure Management : Oversee the effective management and optimization of the companys IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with IT leadership to drive technology initiatives that support operational efficiency and enhance business capabilities. Financial Oversight & Budget Management : Work with the Finance and FP&A teams to ensure the efficient allocation of resources and management of operational budgets. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions to maintain cost efficiency and achieve financial goals. Talent Management & Acquisition : Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and Talent Management teams to develop and implement global workforce strategies that attract, retain, and develop top talent. Support employee engagement, development programs, and organizational culture alignment. Legal Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure adherence to global legal and regulatory standards across operational activities, working closely with the Legal team to mitigate risks. Oversee the implementation of legal and compliance measures within operational workflows. Performance Monitoring & Reporting : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the performance of global operations. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on operational progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Continuous Improvement : Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all operational functions, driving initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Implement best practices and process standardization across the organization to support long-term success. Qualifications: Education : Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience : 15+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 7 years in a leadership role overseeing cross-functional teams in US and India Proven experience managing global teams across diverse functions such as Finance, FP&A, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and IT Infrastructure. Strong track record of successfully implementing operational strategies, driving process improvements, and managing large-scale operational changes. Skills : Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple time zones. Expertise in IT infrastructure management, technology solutions, and digital transformation initiatives. Exceptional financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial oversight. Deep understanding of legal compliance, risk management, and corporate governance. Experience with talent management strategies, employee development, and organizational effectiveness. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
