Director - ProjectsProject and Development Services What this job involves: Leading projects to successAs Senior Project Manager you’ll take total responsibility for the overall success of majorprojects—guiding teams in each phase to achieve outcomes that exceed clients’expectations and meet JLL’s commercial objectives. Driven and ambitious by nature, youhave a mastery of the ins and outs of business—from products and systems to processes,tools and best practices. You’ll need to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders,leading from the front while also taking the time to understand their point of view.For each project, you’ll establish an effective organisational structure for reporting,communication and working procedures, and ensure that clear objectives and qualitycontrol systems are in place. You’ll lead a project team that is highly motivated, eager tocontribute, and in sync with the stakeholders’ mind-sets. You’ll also attend projectmeetings, submit monthly reports, and monitor project budgets, so an eye for detail and astructured approach to tasks will serve you well.Making clients our first priorityThe best person for this job is one who always considers what’s best for our clients. Assuch, you’ll maintain a strong and positive relationship with our clients by identifyingtheir needs, requirements and constraints. While you act in the clients’ best intereststhroughout the project duration, you must make sure that the project’s revenue andpayment cycles are properly managed.Keeping an eye on business opportunities is also among the highlights of the job. Do youhave a knack for building rapport with prospects? Your expertise in surveying a client’sneeds and supporting the preparation of PM proposals is key. Likewise, skilfullydeveloping relationships with other company business lines is a must; we achieve arebiggest success when working together, so clear communication is key, as iscollaboration and team work.Maintaining the JLL legacyWe uphold excellence in everything we do—that has been essential to our more than 200years of staying power. You’ll accomplish this by creating a network of professional consultantswho can deliver the required scope of every project.Likewise, you’ll handle contract administration of all vendors professionally and accordingto legal requirements. It’s the best way to protect both our and the clients’ commercialinterests. Your expertise will also be central in identifying project risks and mitigatingthem. As the digital leader in project management, we use a rangeof technology platforms to deliver our projects.Do you have a deep understanding of the legal environment for each project in respect toplanning, commercial aspects, and delivery?
