You have a track record as a Leading Leader, with experience in handling global cross functional teams with an Engineering background. You have a great interest in leadership and engineering and have a great desire to continually develop your colleagues and yourself and propose digitalization initiatives to improve efficiency. You will be responsible for meeting stipulated efficiency targets for the group. We believe you have a good understanding of Product development processes and have also worked on driving efficiency through Virtual methods. We believe that you have a passion for developing your direct reports and have experience in it. You are well organized, structured, have a holistic view and a global mind-set. You are having experience in developing and executing strategies with a good success rate. . As Director Powertrain Design and Simulation team, you will be driving Powertrain roadmaps linked to Virtual development and digitalization initiatives. The function includes teams working with all aspects of Simulations, Design, Architecture and AR/VR The role involves extensive stakeholder interaction, to ensure execution in alignment with Global Powertrain roadmaps and strategies. This role expects a lot of interactions, orchestration, collaboration and prioritization of opportunities. The purpose is that we work as One Team in promoting digital methods to drive efficiency into the product development process. The teams are fully integrated and working in global CoEs with a footprint in Sweden, India, North America, France and Brazil. The position reports to the VP Powertrain Engineering and is a member of Powertrain Leadership Team in India
