The Role: The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods, coordinating with internal teams and transporters, and ensuring proper documentation for smooth operations. They will manage inventory, supervise dispatch staff, and optimize logistics efficiency. Key responsibilities: Oversee the dispatch of finished goods as per orders and schedule deliveries efficiently. Ensure proper documentation, including invoices, e-way bills, and delivery challans. Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and clients for smooth dispatch operations. Maintain accurate records of dispatches, stock movement, and warehouse inventory. Work closely with the production, sales, and accounts teams to align dispatch with demand. Ensure proper packaging and labeling of products before dispatch. Supervise and guide the dispatch team to ensure timely and error-free shipments. Implement and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines for dispatch. Track shipments and handle any delays or issues in coordination with transporters. Conduct periodic audits of dispatch processes and suggest improvements. Required qualification and skills: Bachelor's degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. 1+ years of experience in dispatch/logistics supervision, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Knowledge of inventory management, logistics coordination, and documentation. Strong communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems for dispatch management.
