Job Description

Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD 2D 3D (Revit preferred). Able to handle computer software (any amended version) Possess fairly good communication skills to effectively explain concepts to architects and engineers and integrate gained knowledge into drawings. Prepare, review, and revise drawings in collaboration with the engineering team. Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team. Knowledgeable in tools, commands, scaling, and modifications in AutoCAD or Revit software. Able to create plans, layouts and designs for electrical and railway electrification. Prepare single-line diagrams for electrification, power distribution, and sectioning diagrams. Understand and create MEP coordination drawings with other trades, such as structural, architectural, Mechanical and electrical (A/C, plumbing). Take measurements with the team on site including Track Center (TC), Implantation (I), mast-to-mast span measurement, foundation, mast catenary and contact height, etc. Create Structural Erection Details/Diagrams (SED) and Cross Sectioning Details/Diagrams (CSD) according to the given OHE layout. Produce designs and drawings for electrical systems, schematic diagrams, cable schedules, single-line diagrams, general arrangement drawings, grounding/earthing, lighting, etc. Collaborate with senior design engineers to develop electrical drawings using AutoCAD or other engineering software. Collaborate with the design team to help with the design and development of various inspection equipment
