Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design & Layout Create and format page layouts for e-learning modules, academic books, educational brochures, eBooks, manuals, reports, and other digital learning materials. Apply style guides and templates to ensure consistency in visual design and branding specific to the EdTech industry. Design print-ready files in accordance with both online learning platforms and printing specifications. File Preparation & Production Prepare production-ready files for both print and digital formats (PDF, EPUB, SCORM, etc.). Ensure all images, fonts, and design elements are correctly formatted for e-learning platforms and production. Convert files between various formats, such as Word to PDF or PDF to editable formats. Content Formatting Typeset and format large academic documents, ensuring proper alignment of headings, text, and interactive elements. Ensure logical flow, readability, and aesthetic appeal of learning materials. Add page numbering, interactive links, tables of contents, and cross-references where necessary. Quality Assurance & Proofreading Review and proofread content for errors in text, layout, and image placement. Perform quality checks on design files to ensure they meet internal and client specifications, particularly for e-learning platforms. Correct any design or layout errors as needed. Software & Tools Use industry-standard software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, QuarkXPress, and Microsoft Office Suite. Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and software updates to maintain high design standards. Work with e-learning tools like Articulate, Adobe Captivate, and SCORM packages as required. Collaboration & Coordination Coordinate with instructional designers, academic content creators, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and ensure the timely delivery of educational projects.
