The role will involve inventory management, material handling, and coordination with procurement, service, and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials required for various air conditioning projects and services.Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory Management:Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with system records.Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts of materials and equipment.2. Receiving & Inspection:Supervise the receiving of materials, ensuring that all items meet quality and quantity standards.Perform quality inspections of incoming items and record discrepancies.3. Material Handling & Storage:Ensure the proper storage of materials in designated locations within the warehouse.Organize and label materials for easy identification and retrieval.4. Dispatch & Distribution:Coordinate the dispatch of materials to project sites and service teams as per project and maintenance schedules.Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of material transfers.5. Supplier & Vendor Management:Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.Follow up on any discrepancies or damaged goods with suppliers.Qualifications & Skills:Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.Experience: 1+ years of experience in store management, preferably in an air conditioning, HVAC, or construction-based company.Skills:Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Key Competencies:Attention to detail.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Time management.Strong teamwork and collaboration.Work Environment:Primarily warehouse-based, with occasional site visits.Physical ability to manage stock and materials.
