We are seeking Data Scientists to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in supporting our diverse range of projects, from developing data-driven insights to creating robust visualizations and predictive models. The ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a passion for solving complex problems in the domestic housing and energy efficiency sector.Role & responsibilities 1. Data Management and Preparation Process, clean, and validate large and complex datasets for analysis and reporting. Develop and maintain data pipelines to improve data integrity and efficiency. Design and manage the reporting environment, including metadata and security.2. Data Analysis and Insight Generation Analyse structured and unstructured data to identify trends and opportunities. Perform advanced statistical analysis and hypothesis testing. Develop predictive models using machine learning techniques.3. Data Visualization and Reporting Create dashboards, interactive reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Develop intuitive, visually compelling representations of data insights for stakeholders. Support end-users by training them on dashboards and new reporting features.4. Collaboration and Integration Collaborate with teams to integrate models and data-driven insights into ongoing projects. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable solutions. Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards for data quality and security.5. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Research and implement the latest technologies in data science, cloud platforms, and visualization tools. Enhance existing workflows and develop innovative methods to handle data challenges. Preferred candidate profile Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn). Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel. Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (Google Big Query). Familiarity with API integrations and ETL processes.Knowledge of SharePoint Development and Smartsheet development will be a plusBehavioural Skills: Strong communication and storytelling abilities to present data-driven insights effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively. Strong collaboration skills with diverse teams and stakeholders.Experience: 3-7 years in data analytics and data science roles, preferably in industries working with large-scale, low-quality datasets.
