Position: MYP & DP Economics & Business Management Teacher Location: Bloomingdale International School, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Salary: ₹90,000 – ₹1,30,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience) Job Type: Full-time Job Overview: Bloomingdale International School, an IB World School in Vijayawada, is seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to deliver Economics and Business Management across both the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). The candidate should be well-versed in the IB curriculum, committed to inquiry-based learning, and enthusiastic about supporting student growth. Key Responsibilities: Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the IB MYP and DP frameworks. Support students with internal assessments, personal projects, and extended essays. Encourage critical thinking and real-world application of concepts. Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary curriculum planning. Track student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback. Participate in parent-teacher interactions and school events. Stay updated with IB developments and attend professional training as needed. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Studies, Commerce, or related discipline. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred). Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in IB MYP and/or DP Economics or Business Management. IB certification in Economics/Business Management is an advantage.
