Job Description

Elevate is recruiting an Editor to join our Med legal team. As an Editor you will be responsible to monitor the daily queue to ensure reports are delivered timely and to provide support to the contract editing team. You will also review previously edited reports for completion, formatting, and correctness. This position will report to the Team Lead and provide support for other editorial and administrative tasks as needed. Specifically, the Editor will : Monitor a daily queue of 30+ reports per day. Support contract editors by advising on editing questions. Complete final editorial review of reports. Provide feedback to peers. Compile PDFs and create internal hyperlinks. Coordinate with Operations teams. Edit reports as needed. Complete other projects as assigned. Skills for success : Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills preferred. Ability to learn quickly is essential. Critical thinking skills are a must. Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback to and from peers. You will need to prioritize competing deadlines, communicate effectively with multiple team members and exemplify attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, and copy editing expertise. Experience 2+ years of professional writing and/or editing experience preferred, or equivalent academic experience. Experienced in intermediate Microsoft Word, advanced Excel, familiarity with Adobe Professional, Email, Video conferencing, QuickBase navigation (once demonstrated) Qualifications Any graduate.
