Position: Wireless Site Survey Engineer Location: Bangalore, India Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 6+ Years Industry: IT/Networking/Wireless Infrastructure Ob Overview We are looking for an experienced Wireless Site Survey Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on experience in wireless site surveys, network design, and optimization using Ekahau Site Survey tools The engineer will be responsible for conducting RF surveys, troubleshooting wireless networks, and ensuring optimal coverage for enterprise clients If you are an expert in Ekahau Pro, Ekahau Sidekick, and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions, and have experience working with Aruba 635 APs, we encourage you to apply! Key Responsibilities ?? Wireless Site Surveys & RF Analysis Conduct predictive, active, and passive wireless site surveys using Ekahau Use Ekahau Sidekick for on-site RF spectrum analysis and network performance assessment Perform AP-on-a-stick (APoS) surveys to determine optimal AP placements Identify RF interference sources, dead zones, and coverage gaps in Wi-Fi deployments ?? Wireless Network Design & Optimization Design and optimize Wi-Fi networks to ensure high-performance connectivity Develop Wi-Fi heatmaps, RF propagation models, and capacity planning reports Configure and validate Aruba 635 APs and other enterprise-grade access points Provide recommendations for AP placement, channel planning, and power adjustments ?? Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning Diagnose and resolve wireless connectivity issues, interference problems, and performance bottlenecks Work closely with network engineers to fine-tune wireless parameters Ensure Wi-Fi deployments meet 802 11a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6) standards ?? Documentation & Reporting Generate detailed Ekahau survey reports, network design documents, and optimization plans Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders Required Skills & Qualifications ??? Technical Expertise 6+ years of experience in wireless network design, site surveys, and troubleshooting Hands-on experience with Ekahau Pro, Ekahau Sidekick, and Ekahau Analyzer Strong understanding of RF principles, signal propagation, and interference sources Experience with Aruba 635 APs and other enterprise wireless solutions (Cisco, Ruckus, Meraki, etc ) Knowledge of Wi-Fi security protocols (WPA2, WPA3, 802 1X, EAP, PSK, etc ) Experience with wireless controllers and network management platforms ??? Education & Certifications (Preferred But Not Mandatory) Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field CWNA, CWDP, CWAP, or Aruba Certified certifications are a plus ????
