Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

Job Description: 1. Design and engineering of electrical system and components like switchgear, transformer, cables, UPS, DG sets etc. for electrical utilities of manufacturing processes in compliance with industry standard. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Maintenance and mechanical utilities to understand project requirements and develop the optimized power distribution system. 3. Development of electrical layouts and schedules like earthing, lighting, and cabling layouts/schedules along with consultants. 4. Collaborate with vendors and consultants of various equipment and system to ensure completion of project within timelines. 5. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, providing technical guidance and support to technicians and contractors as needed. 6. Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose root causes of equipment failures, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production 7. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, promoting a culture of workplace safety and environmental stewardship. Work Experience: 5 to10 Years Qualification & Certification Required: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in electrical engineering Knowledge, Skills, & Technology Platform: 1. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IS, IEC etc.), with the ability to ensure compliance in design and installation. 2. Experience with switchgears, transformers, variable frequency drives (VFDs) sizing, electrical layouts and preferred. 3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 4. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
