Electrical Designer

Job Description

Position: Electrical Designer Experience Required: Minimum 8 to 18 years Technical Skills: a. Proficient in 2D drafting tools (AutoCAD) b. Experienced with 3D design tools such as E3D or PDMS c. Familiarity with Navisworks Simulate d. Knowledge of document control systems Roles and Responsibilities: a. Familiarity with relevant international standards b. Ability to read and understand project specifications and Scope of Work (SOW) c. Capable of reviewing tender and pre-bid documents, budgeting, and assessing software requirements for modeling and drafting tasks d. Ability to lead and guide the entire design team e. Competent in reading and understanding engineering documents f. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with other disciplines and clients g. Participation in internal and external model reviews h. Proficient in checking electrical layouts and installation drawings i. Review and validation of Material Take-Offs (MTOs) j. Review of vendor documents k. Basic understanding of PDMS/E3D administration activities l. Responsible for ensuring the quality of design documents and 3D models produced by the design team Show more Show less
