Job Description

Responsibilities: Design and Drafting: Create and update electrical drawings and schematics using CAD software (AutoCAD) Develop detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics for electrical systems Prepare wiring diagrams, layout plans, and equipment placement drawings Create single-line diagrams, cable sizing diagrams, and other relevant electrical drawings Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications Communicate design changes and updates to the team Resolve any design issues and develop effective solutions. Technical Skills and Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of electrical principles and systems Be proficient in using CAD software for electrical drafting. Other Tasks: Prepare technical specification documents, installation guides, and user manuals Estimate the required power generation and consumption needs Calculate the amount of materials and equipment needed Supervise installation of electrical equipment and systems Supervise repair of equipment and wiring Create visual guidelines for construction purposes Draft technical details and specify dimensions, materials, and procedures
