Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Perform electrical load calculations for Government, residential and commercial buildings. Design electrical layouts using AutoCAD and ensure alignment with project requirements. Select cables, breakers, and electrical equipment for systems based on project specifications. Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for electrical systems. Assist senior engineers in supervising electrical installations, ensuring quality and safety compliance. Coordinate with other departments to ensure the electrical designs integrate seamlessly with overall project specifications. Maintain project documentation, such as BOQs, for project estimation and tendering. Provide on-site supervision, including monitoring the progress of electrical work. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Electrical engineer Minimum of 5 years experience in Government, residential and commercial electrical engineering projects. Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical design. Strong knowledge of electrical system design, load calculations, and equipment selection. Experience in project management and assisting in the execution of electrical works on-site. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. * Experience with BOQ preparation, circuit breaker sizing, and equipment selection.
