Job Description Project Manager Position: Project Manager Location: Ladakh Industry: (EPC / Manufacturing / Power / Renewable Energy / Infrastructure) Experience: 4+ Year Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering Job Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the electrical engineering division, overseeing the design, execution, and maintenance of electrical systems. The role involves managing large-scale projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing power distribution, and leading a team of engineers to achieve organizational goals efficiently. Key Responsibilities: 1. Electrical System Design & Management: Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of power distribution and electrical systems. Ensure efficient power utilization, load management, and energy-saving strategies. Implement automation and control systems (SCADA, PLCs) for optimized operations. Drive the adoption of sustainable and renewable energy solutions. 2. Project Execution & Management: Lead electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery. Develop and manage project budgets, cost estimations, and financial forecasting. Ensure compliance with industry regulations (NEC, IEC, IS standards, safety codes). Coordinate with cross-functional teams (civil, mechanical, procurement, and operations). 3. Safety, Compliance & Quality Control: Enforce adherence to electrical safety standards and government regulations. Conduct electrical audits, risk assessments, and preventive maintenance programs. Ensure quality control in electrical installations, procurement, and commissioning. 4. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and project managers. Provide technical guidance and training to improve team efficiency. Foster innovation and implement best practices in electrical engineering. 5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage vendor selection, negotiations, and procurement of electrical components. Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies for approvals. Work closely with finance, legal, and procurement teams to optimize project execution. 6. Innovation & Technology Adoption: Stay updated with emerging trends in electrical engineering and smart grid technologies. Drive digital transformation initiatives, AI-powered diagnostics, and IoT-based automation. Implement best practices in energy efficiency, green energy, and sustainability. Key Skills & Competencies: Technical Expertise: Power systems, electrical design, automation, renewable energy integration. Project Management: Handling EPC projects, budgeting, and resource planning. Compliance & Safety: Knowledge of NEC, IEC, IS codes, and electrical safety standards. Leadership & People Management: Experience in managing engineering teams. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Negotiation and collaboration with external and internal teams.
