Job Description

Job Summary: The Electrical Panel Production Manager is responsible for managing the complete manufacturing process of Electrical panels, including planning, supervision, quality control, and on-time delivery. The role involves coordinating with design, procurement, quality, and testing teams to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production aligned with client specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production activities for electrical panel assembly. Supervise shop floor activities, including fabrication, wiring, assembly, and testing of panels. Monitor production progress and ensure timely delivery as per project deadlines. Allocate manpower, tools, and materials efficiently to optimize output and reduce downtime. Review and interpret electrical drawings, GA/SLD/BOQ, and customer specifications. Coordinate with the design and engineering team for drawing approvals and technical clarifications. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and other shop floor best practices. Maintain quality standards during all production stages, ensuring panels pass pre-dispatch inspection. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and consumables. Prepare production reports and present performance data to senior management. Conduct training and skill development programs for production staff and technicians. Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering. 5–6 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role. Sound knowledge of electrical standards (IS, IEC), manufacturing processes, and panel testing procedures. Hands-on experience with wiring, busbar fabrication, and troubleshooting electrical panels.
