Electrical Technician

Job Description

The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role involves working with wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components to ensure safe and efficient operations. * Key Responsibilities: * Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with local and national regulations. * Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. * Diagnose and repair electrical issues in machinery, lighting, and wiring systems. * Test electrical systems using various tools such as multimeters and circuit testers. * Perform routine maintenance to reduce the risk of electrical failure. * Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA and electrical code standards. * Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other technicians. * Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks. * Respond to emergency electrical calls outside of normal working hours, if required.
