Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Maintenance and operation of HT and LT equipment like motor, transformer, crane, battery, battery charger, UPS. 2. Knowledge of starters -DOL, start delta, soft starters, variable speed drives & trouble shooting. 3. Knowledge of synchronizing, power factor, reactive power, earthing concepts, smoke detector & plant lighting. 4. Knowledge of spares (vital, critical and normal) & Inventory control based on equipment criticality. 5. Hands-on experience in Electronics/Electrical panels & various interlocking schemes required for automation & analyzing all drawings related to automation & control. 6. Should have handled maintenance and troubleshooting of power receiving and distribution system apparatus. {11kv/440v} LT switch yard, HT and LT circuit breakers, protective relays, MPCC, MCC, Motor Starters (DOL, Star Delta, and Soft Starter), AC and DC motors, industrial lighting, panel and window Air condition. UPS, EOT cranes up to 40T.} 7. Implementation of planned, preventive & predictive maintenance practices to optimize machines availability with constant endeavors to realize ZERO downtime. Maintenance management and Material management by SAP system. 8. Working with project schedule by coordinating with electrical consultant, contractor, purchase team and other agencies like mechanical, civil etc. 9. Safe working methods, IMS, 6S & WCM and knowledge of energy conservation methods. Preferred candidate profile Must have been responsible for Maintenance of equipment of his/her function. Knowledge in Industrial Safety, 5S, and ISO Systems. Involvement in employee involvement initiatives like suggestion/kaizen/cross functional projects Must be ready to work in Shifts.
