Job Title : Electrician with B or C license holder Job Location : Chennai & Bengaluru Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Engineer to manage and maintain various electrical equipment, including DG sets, PCC & MCC panels, transformers, substations, compressors, and HT/LT panels. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operation and maintenance, ensuring smooth functioning and minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities : Operation and maintenance of 1500 KVA & 500 KVA DG sets. Managing and troubleshooting PCC & MCC panels. Maintenance and operation of transformers and substations. Handling compressors and ensuring proper functioning. Managing HT and LT panels, including routine checks and maintenance. Diagnosing electrical issues and taking corrective actions. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational protocols. Performing preventive maintenance tasks to avoid equipment failures. Coordinating with other departments for smooth operations. Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities. Required Skills : In-depth knowledge of DG sets (1500 & 500 KVA), PCC & MCC panels, transformers, substations, compressors, HT-LT panels. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Familiarity with safety standards and regulations. Good communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications : Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical or related field. 3-4 years of experience in operations and maintenance of electrical systems.
