Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in control panels, motors, sensors, and automated batching systems. Conduct regular inspections to ensure plant equipment is functioning correctly and safely. Maintain and update electrical documentation, such as wiring diagrams and service records. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for timely repairs and upgrades. Maintain an inventory of tools and electrical supplies. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore operations quickly. Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant expansions. Qualifications: ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade certification. Minimum 25 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial or RMC plant environment. Knowledge of electrical control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and motor controllers. Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents. Awareness of electrical safety standards and procedures. Working Conditions: Work is typically performed in an outdoor or plant environment with exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery. May require working on weekends, holidays, or in shifts as per operational requirements. Preferred Skills (Optional): Knowledge of automation systems used in batching plants. Experience with generator maintenance and backup power systems. Basic mechanical knowledge for cross-functional support.
