Job Description

Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience managing and administering the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch architecture, clustering, and query optimization. Experience with Logstash, Beats, and other data ingestion tools. Proficient in Kibana dashboard development and visualizing large volumes of data. In-depth experience with data storage and indexing strategies within Elasticsearch. Familiarity with Elasticsearch security, including role-based access control (RBAC), SSL/TLS encryption, and integrating with third-party security tools. Strong scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Groovy for automation tasks. Understanding of Linux/Unix system administration (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu). Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying ELK on cloud infrastructure is an advantage. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools integrated with ELK (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a production environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
