Endoscopy Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians and nurses with bronchoscopies , upper and lower GI endoscopies , and other related procedures. Set up, calibrate, and operate endoscopy equipment, including bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, and gastroscopes. Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols. Reprocess, clean, and disinfect endoscopic instruments according to facility and industry standards. Ensure accurate labeling and handling of biopsy specimens and documentation. Monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures. Maintain inventory of supplies and report equipment malfunctions promptly. Educate patients on procedure preparation and post-care instructions as needed. Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to optimize workflow and efficiency in the endoscopy suite. Stay current with updates in endoscopic technologies and best practices. Requirement: Endoscopy Technician Specializing in Bronchoscopy & Gastroenterology
