Job Description

Engineer - CAD Work Experience Diploma /Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 5 - 6 Years Create detailed 3D models of sheet metal cabinets for UPS, inverter, and Hykon products using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Solid Edge. Convert 3D models into accurate 2D drawings to facilitate the fabrication of cabinets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop designs that meet product specifications and industry standards. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and specifications for all designs. Primary Duties Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities. Conduct regular checks on designs to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations Identify design issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance product performance and manufacturability. Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory submissions and product certifications Secondary Duties Stay updated with the latest advancements in power electronics technology. Diploma /Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in sheet metal cabinet design Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge. Experience in converting 3D models into 2D drawings for fabrication purposes. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to sheet metal work. Skills Required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
